How hot is it going to get this Holy Week? Extreme caution levels, experts say.
The easterlies, northeasterly windflow, and localized thunderstorms will bring cloudy skies with isolated rains over Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on Maundy Thursday, PAGASA reported.
Isolated rains are expected in several areas of the country on Maundy Thursday due to the easterlies, PAGASA said Wednesday afternoon.
The Philippines will be experiencing generally fair weather with possible rainfall in some areas during the Holy Week.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms on Holy Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
Virac, Catanduanes posted a heat index of 47°C on Tuesday, which is in the danger level, the weather bureau PAGASA said.
Localized thunderstorms are expected to bring cloudy skies and rain in several parts of the country in the next 24 hours, the state weather bureau said on Tuesday afternoon.
The ridge of the High Pressure Area (HPA) will be extending over Northern Luzon as cloudy skies with isolated rain showers expected over the rest of the country on Holy Tuesday, PAGASA reported.
